awww, fall!

A couple of weeks ago Sarah and I took the kids up Bishop Creek to get some pictures in the fall colors. It was a beautiful afternoon, with dark storm clouds in the sky, but no rain in sight. We drove up towards Lake Sabrina and pulled over at a campground and let them run around like little crazy monkeys....they had so much fun.

Then we plopped them both back in the car and turned off the highway and headed towards north lake. Right after we passed Bishop Creek Lodge we found this lovely little turn out with a meandering dirt lane heading off into the aspens. It was perfect...away from the road, not a person in sight, the kids could just let loose!

Sometimes photo sessions go well....................................and sometimes not!

Taylie was being such a good girl the entire time, she kept smiling and posing and was just loving getting her picture taken......Austin on the other hand was a little monster! He was wwwaaaayyyy to busy playing and running threw the leaves and climbing on rocks to pause and take a photo. It was like pulling teeth! He did not want to stop for anything, no matter how many peek-a-boos or AUSTIN's or yipppeee or look at this! He didn't care. He was a little boy on a mission and that mission did not include photos. It's amazing just how completely opposite they are, even at this young age.....Austin is such a little boy and Taylie is all little girl!

And there they go! Best little buddies off to see the world together...awww fall it is so nice to meet you this year! Your color's are amazing and your mild days and cool nights make me smile with happiness....stick around a little longer please! There is so much more we need to discover before winter gets here!
